JMDWiki Content Management System

Dec0508Dec 05, 08

JMDWiki is a very extensive "site-in-a-box" style Content Management System, created for those individuals who require an efficient website in a very short time frame. After extracting the file to a new folder/directory in your PHP+MySQL web server's web root, you import a ".sql" file to MySQL. Once imported, the JMDWiki database becomes functional. Then you must edit the "JMDWiki_settings.xml" file to indicate the database name, web root, site name, and META data. The site is then fully functional, running with the default theme. Literally a two step process. JMDWiki is a Content Management Wiki, a website front-end, and a media management system all in one incredibly simple to use package.

Jason Miller Design is running a stock version of JMDWiki 1.0 beta. The JMDWiki database for this website keeps track of every revision of every document, the tabs you see above, the media files embedded in the various pages of this site, the photo gallery and image viewer, individual visitors and downloads. Documents can be safely hidden from the public and search engines, or featured on their respective tab pages. JMDWiki also provides an automatic RSS Feed and XML Sitemap of all public documents.

You can email me at to request a free custom proposal or license, or you may wish wait a few weeks for the official release of JMDWiki 3.

It is possible to request a custom version of JMDWiki tailored to your server and needs. If you wish to do so, I am available to create user-firendly websites on demand. Please see the Contact page for more information. If you need a good website or web content in a hurry, you've come to the right place. I also offer one on one training for most web technologies, computer applications and coding. I am proficient in JavaScript (AJAX), CSS, XHTML, PHP and MySQL.
