Palm Pre webOS

The new Palm Pre runs a Operating System called webOS.

When I heard this, I immediately thought of amoebaOS running on a tiny handheld device. It isn't a new idea, but it has been done quite poorly throughout the past and amoebaOS Mobile is specifically designed to make the desktop and handheld experience unified. As of the most recent release, all current amoebaOS applications run natively on both the mobile and desktop versions of the OS. This means application designers need not create device-specific code and can instead focus on keeping their products lean and usable.

amoebaOS on the Palm Pre

Expect a Palm Pre version of amoebaOS in the future.
